Sold out concert at Brigham Young University
Word from Utah is that Ray played to a sold out concert at Brigham Young University in Provo last month. He performed both as a soloist, with the Brigham Young University steel band, Panoramic Steel, and with a group of local musicians in the chamber music portion of the program.

Ronald Brough reports that Panoramic Steel opened the concert  with "Sticks"  Ray’s first composition that he wrote to fit already written lyrics.  This was followed by Ray's soulful ballad
"Sad Song for a Pan Man."  Ray was the featured soloist on his tune "Woodbrook Jam".

Ray then opened up the chamber band set with "Bazodee".
He was accompanied by Tully Cathey on guitar, Regan Brough on electric bass, Roger Brough on tenor pan, and Ron Brough on congas.

Panoramic Steel played once more to perform the final number - Ray's tribute to pan pioneer Ellie Mannette entitled "Dr. Mannette".  The crowd gave a rousing standing ovation and begged for more.
